Nero CD-DVD Speed is a benchmark that can test the most important features of an optical drive such as transfer rate, seek times, CPU usage, burst rate, DAE quality and spinup/spindown time. As part of the Nero Toolkit, it is also a tool that can check the media quality of your CD and DVD. The Nero CD-DVD Speed has support for CD, DVD, BD and HD DVD drives, can read and write transfer rate, can do disc quality tests (PI/PO, C1/C2, Jitter), scan discs and conduct overburning test. It allows all key functions such as Benchmark, DiscInfo, DiscQuality and ScanDiscs which can easily be accessed and managed through tabs in the main window.
